Independent Living Qualifications
To qualify, a Michigan Shores member will be 55 years or older, and meet minimum
income requirements. A member's share is paid to the cooperative upon relinquishing
their membership, the share money is returned with limited equity to the member or
their estate in accordance to the Corporate By-Laws.

A single affordable monthly charge provides each resident / member use of these
comforts and conveniences:

- The Great Room for dining, entertainment, and lounging (overlooks Lake Michigan)

Apartment Features
There are 54 spacious one-bedroom (676-799 square feet) and two-bedroom (844-1488
square feet) apartments with full-size kitchens and baths (either tub-shower or shower)
and walkout decks or patios.
